One of the best episodes any human has ever created... "THE DEFECTOR"

Re: One of the best episodes any human has ever created... "THE DEFECT

The Defector is TNG done right. One of my top five TNG episodes:bolian: I am looking forward to this episode when the 3rd season comes out on Bluray:D

Yeah, I can't wait to see the holodeck scene of the Valley of Chula in HD!

I really wish we had seen more of Romulus. Most of what we got was that matte exterior shot of the senate over and over again, and a couple of scenes in a street and underground. Even Nemesis barely showed anything.

I'm not a fan of the jjtrek but I hope Romulus is shown in the next movie. (even though I'm sure it will look nothing like it's supposed to)

It's one of my favourites too. in my eyes, this particular episode is the most underrated ever. Whenever lists are made, it's hardly ever mentioned. The suspense, the acting, the emotions brought about by the plight of the "defector" are all at top notch level. Admiral Alidar Jarok, as I have said before, is my favourite guest character.
I really do love this episode.

True, but there's Picard's line about the Romulan's initial attack just being 'a tap on the shoulder' or they wouldn't be around to talk about it. The implication being that between the two Warbirds, they had the firepower overwhelm the Enterprise's defenses before they or the Klingons could respond.
What you are saying is true, but I struggle to imagine that the Enterprise would be that easy to destroy. I mean, come on...it's the Enterprise ;)

It may be the Enterprise, but they made it clear throughout the series that one Romulan Warbird would be a pretty even match. Two would have a definite advantage. And they are like twice the size of a galaxy class.
