One more time for "Timeless"

If you liked the time travel show "Timeless" (or even if you didn't) it's coming back with a one-shot movie this Thursday to resolve that end of series cliff-hanger. Just thought folks would like to know.

Thanks! Did it get any better after my wife and I bailed in the middle of the first season?

For a standard "by the books" time travel show they made it fun and interesting. I'm glad they are getting a shot to wrap things up.

It's a bit subjective, but... er .... uhmm ... no, it really didn't. Wondering time travel rules, inconsistencies and generally poor writing continued throughout. Fun history porn, but plot holes you could drive a tank through.

The lead characters are Preston, Logan and Rufus Carlin. This was always meant to be the kind of romp Legends of Tomorrow is alleged to be. Personally, I think this is the one that actually works.

I think a show someplace between Legends and Timeless in terms of tone and style I would enjoy more than either. I favor more Legends. It’s enjoyable to watch and not going to discredit those who love its insanity. Though I wonder though how long they can maintain it. For all the humor not everything works. They are throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. In the process the characters no longer feel like real people at all. Most feel like they are telling joke lines on a comedy. Plus the costumes and powers are feel like something the writers are saddled with.

While Timeless I give credit for shining a light on unknown aspects of history it’s poorly written and bland. I am surprised no one really has complained how a show with two male leads and one woman... leads to her in a romance with one of them. It defined her character too much. The advantage of Legends having a rotating cast is they never fallen into that trap for too long. Plus there is a larger group other stuff is going on. Lucy and Wyatt and what complications have keep them apart is not interesting to me.

I will be watching tomorrow. I am curious what they do with what likely is the end. Otherwise I would go too a first screening of Aquaman.

I agree.
