The Station/Starbase's colour scheme is based on TMP colours: greys, blues and red pennants and pinstriping.Romulan in my eyes, going by colour and the arches. What were your thoughts?

Exacto. Your image exemplifies my statement. That is a hard angled design. Very far from the soft curved lines of Equity.No thrill no frills, lots of straight angles, does fit the brutalist bill IMO
