One apartment complex in London

So I've seen what appears to be the same apartment complex used as a set in Doctor Who (tonight's episode), Law and Order: UK, Prime Suspect, Luther and who knows what else. Is that the only complex in London or what?

Hm, I thought it was somewhere in Cardiff since they film the series there... glad they got some location shooting in. And yeah, the place looks huge!

It's just off Commercial Road in Bristol's Redcliffe area. My cousin lives in one just like it a few streets away. Sadly I found out too late that they were filming to go and see anything. It's actually not that big, and I was impressed how they made it all look so filmic, much like Torchwood did with Cardiff!

No, but it may be the only complex in London/Bristol that allows filming. Sort of like how a certain abandoned hospital in Vancouver, BC was recycled over and over again for not only the X-Files but the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie.

I'm actually surprised to learn it was filmed in Bristol. I'd have thought it was shot around Cardiff like most of the other episodes.

That apartment building was outright spooky. Reminded me of those gloomy ferroconcrete prefabs that grew all over the Eastern Europe during 70s and 80s - they were equally as scary, even though a lot uglier. People used to call them "rabbit hutches." You could hear a person fart five floors below yours, and the whole building would screech and creak during a windstorm.
