Once Upon A Time Season 4

Wow. It was nice of grumpy to answer all of my previous questions for me...

And, this was the first episode where I actually liked most of the characters, especially Snow White: "You spent most of your lives without electricity! Find a flashlight!"

I thought it was interesting when they turned to Snow and told her "It's your curse, you're Mayor. Regina doesn't want to do it."

Regina doesn't want to be in charge anymore? :wtf:

Loved when Snow commiserated with Regina for dealing with the whiny townsfolk.

Where are the towns people who were assigned to the power plant anyway?

Glad to see Henry step up and go after Regina.

I love the writing on this show. Charming is telling Emma that she's not the only one who puts up walls and then they run into a literal wall

I loved the flashbacks and the interaction between Emma and Elsa. but my favourite bit was Snow ranting at Grumpy, Happy and Granny.

I rewound that scene and watched it a few times. That one line just kills me, the one about how they lived for most of their lives without electicity, go buy a flashlight.

So, I watched Frozen yesterday finally, so, I'm a bit more oriented now. Watched the first episode, last week, and this week's episode last night. Liking it so far.

Probably watch both episodes again tonight, now that I have Frozen under my Belt. I thought it was great how they kept bringing up that Elsa was the only one with her power, and then they brought in Elizabeth Mitchell in that last scene. Anxious to see where they go with that Arc.

The actress playing Elsa looks perfect, it's as if they Elsa in the movie, in her image, rather than casting the actress to look like the Movie character. Anna, while not quite as perfect, is definitely great casting as well.

Really like the bonding between Emma and Elsa, and Henry breaking down Regina's resolve was pretty great too.

So, David and Bo Peep (loved Bo Peep, BTW, definitely a very unexpected twist)...Is this something we simply haven't been shown yet, or has Sydney already started succeeding with his mission to get the book rewritten?

It's just something we haven't been shown yet. I'm sure finding the author of the book will be something we see onscreen.

I saw the twist coming at the end since I had read a magazine article mentioning her character, but it was still cool. I just knew the writers couldn't resist bring in more LOST actors. Looking forward to seeing Elizabeth Mitchell in action. I'm very curious if they are going to make her character and Elsa related or not.

Know what kills me? I'm about halfway through writing an epic - EPIC, I tell you - fanfic setting up Elsa to face off against the original HCA Snow Queen, and I knew from the way it was telegraphed that that's where the producers were heading, but I figured, "the storyline's eleven episodes. I got time to finish before OUAT gets to that part."

And they promo the damn showdown for next week.

Guess I can stop writing...

Great season so far, although I'm still trying to wrap my head around Bo Peep being a "warlord" (in a good way). Really like the actress they picked for it, too. Even having seen Weigert for years in SOA, I still halfway expect her to blurt out a random "cocksucker" along with a lengthy chain of sometimes-incoherent profanities.

Well, that was a creepy Bo Beep. I wonder if we'll see her in more flashbacks, though. I kept expecting her to show up while Charming and Anna were congratulating each other, since Charming brilliantly left his sword and her staff behind after half-assedly tying her up. Does her "army" consist of just two thugs who can be knocked unconscious by a newbie? :rommie:

Hey guys,

Good Morning America was in the studio on friday and shot a bit. They shot some screens a couple seats away from mine, but had to be careful not to show anything of what we're currently working on!

You work on Once Upon a Time? Awesome! Maybe you could answer a question I've been wondering about for awhile ...

When Regina (or Cora) yanks someone's heart out, is that heart prop lit from inside, or is that effect added on later?

Sunday Final Ratings: Once Upon a Time 3.3/9, 9.24 million

Pretty good for the second episode. A small drop was expected.

To compare, The Simpsons and Family Guy had massive drops from last weekend.

49% drop for The Simpsons from last week (from 3.9 to 2.0)
58% drop for Family Guy from last week (from 4.5 to 1.9)

Family Guy might still have some life left in it, but Simpsons should have died many years ago, IMO.

So ONCE UPON A TIME, you know the show we talk about here, was good Sunday. ;)
