Once Upon A Time Season 3

Well, there's no harsh language, no sex, no blood, and most "deaths" involve a puff of smoke.

Ummm...

We have seen both Regina & Cora plunge their hand into people's chests and literally RIP their beating hearts out and crush them before their eyes.

I think that would scar the 5 year old and probably the 7 year old too.

OUAT does tend to be fairly arc heavy, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to just jump in for the Frozen arc.

You mean those glowing hearts that didn't look very much like human organs? yeah, I don't think so.

I don't think kids 7 and under are too clear on what "real organs" look like. :vulcan:

I still remember being scared watching those damn flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz... and all they did was toss the scarecow about and steal Dorothy and Toto.

Was that a spoiler?

Should I tag that? ;)

Ah, that's useful to know. I might study spoiler-heavy reviews of these episodes before letting the kids watch

Wouldn't worry too much about that, they'll just want to look at a real-life Elsa and Awna. Plot isn't their thing - I still have to explain plot points from Frozen even though they've seen it a million times!

I got season 3 today and while the lenticular cover (Hook, Regina, Rumble, Emma, Snow and Charming appear when you move the cover) is nice it still doesn't really match the season. Peter Pan and Zelena should've been on the cover or something associated with them should have.

I've been wondering if they were going to find a way to bring her back ever since the movie Maleficent was a big hit.
Season 3 is going to be added to Netflix Streaming tomorrow (along with the Season 3 of Revenge). Yeah, I'm pretty much guaranteed to get absolutely nothing done tomorrow.

I've been working my way through season 3 over the last couple weeks, all I have left is the season finale which I plan to watch tomorrow, and I've actually been liking it a lot better watching the episodes closer together like this. It doesn't feel quite as dragged out when you're watching it over the course of days instead of months.

I wonder if that's because of how the story is structured - season 3A takes place over the course of what, about a week? Yet watching it live, it takes 3 months to resolve the story.

Season 3 was much better than 1-2, I thought. I liked how they were telling serialized 11 episode stories. And Pan was a really interesting villain. Wicked Witch a little less so.
