That was my small contribution.

After I saw jon1701's genius Star Trek V sombrerification, I sent him a PM stating:

I was thinking you should do one based on the scene from Trek III, where Bones is trying to negotiate a ride to Genesis from that funky alien.

Instead of "Genesis allowed is not. Is planet forbidden!", it could say "Sombrero allowed is not. Is headwear forbidden!"

Or something like that.

And then maybe cut to McCoy in a sombrero.

Just an idea.

I loved that too. I think the choice of sombrero there was key as well. That particular sombrero just suits Kirk perfectly in that scene.
