Olmos would have been interesting as Jellico in Chain of Command.

I know EJO was in the running to play Kruge, but I never heard about the Picard rumor. (Only other actor I remember being considered for Picard was Stephen Macht, i.e. General Krim from DS9)

Basically Picard's perfered form of diplomacy would be to beat the other party to death with a flashlight.

And we would have scenes in every episode of him shaving.

I'm glad EJO didn't play Picard. No one, not even him, could have equalled Patrick Stewart.

Now of course EJO would have been awesome as a guest character, Kruge or not. (Apparently a lot of people like him for Diego Reyes from ST:Vanguard.) But not as Picard, specifically.

Well, that's what you think now after 25 years of thinking of Stewart as Picard.

If someone else good had been cast, we'd feel the same way about them.
