old Trek TV writers new story pitches for new series

Let's discuss former Trek TV writers and a new series.
Obviously if a new series is not announced and no characters have been set are former regular Trek TV writers still coming up with story ideas to pitch to the next producers?

I'm not talking about the first few episodes like in ENT the first 4 or 5 episodes were written by Rick Berman & Brannon Braga. I'm talking about the A story that will work in the Star Trek universe and can be adapted to a ship's crew, not the B story.

I'm sure you guys would like a writer who wrote some TNG, VOY, or ENT episodes to write an episode of a new Trek series.

Will old Trek series writers have story ideas that once a new series is announced that get pitched to the producers of Star Trek? Even if it is just the story rather than the actual teleplay I'd like to think the next Trek series will have some great stories pitched since it's been at least 10 years now for Trek TV.
How about how many of ENT's season 5 unfilmed scripts or unwritten scripts based on pitched ENT stories will get recycled for a new series like we heard Phase II stories and "The Child" rewritten for for TNG and "In Thy Image" rewritten to become the screenplay for Star Trek: TMP. ?

Nope. I want new people leading the next Trek series. Hopefully, they'll include some prominent sci-fi authors in the creative process.

DW went 16 years virtually off the air so ten years isn't that long. New blood so to speak is good, but that doesn't mean those who wrote for the show previously might not have some great ideas. A lot depends on the overall concept of the show and/or limitations placed on the writers.
