I think that footage came from the DS9 “Behind The Scenes” VHS that was hosted by Terry Farrell. The Admin Shimmerman And Rene Auberjonois footage I know is from it and was reused in the DS9 DVD Documentaries. I haven’t watched the VHS in a while, but I think the Cirroc Lofton And Nana Visitor footage (especially since she has her Pilot look) are from the VHS as well.

Around the same time there was a great show called 'Movie Magic' that has more behind the scenes footage:

(I bought a US-format VHS at a convention charity auction.) Avery Brooks steadfastly refused to participate in it, so not one piece of Sisko footage is used.

Yep, essentially a promo for Season Two. (I bought a US-format VHS at a convention charity auction.) Avery Brooks steadfastly refused to participate in it, so not one piece of Sisko footage is used.
According to Memory Alpha the documentary was broadcast in the US on an “Entertainment Tonight” 1-hour special on January 4, 1993, one night after “Emissary”’s release on January 3, 1993 (or in some markets it would’ve been before “Emissary”). So it was more like a promo for Season 1 and would explain why Nana Visitor and Armin Shimmerman appear in their pilot versions.

Mmmmm. But I thought it had lots of footage than just the pilot? It's been years since I watched it. My memory was that it revisited lots of episodes. I guess not.

The VHS packaging dates probably confused my memory. "Included as a special feature on the November 1993 UK 'Special Collector's Edition' VHS release of 'Emissary', while being issued seven months later in the US as the July 1994 stand-alone VHS release." It's the US version I have.

Those Movie Magic shows were great. I only wish that Legato had shown the original Emissary battle footage before he had to remove all the extraneous ships. That footage probably no longer exists, unfortunately. It would have been the only way to tell what he used for the U.S.S. Tolstoy.

Those videos might be good, but you'd never know. They're about an inch on a side on my screen, the control bar across the bottom cuts of 20% and the caption across the top cuts off another 20%, and the videos are unexpandable thanks to Youtube.
