I really understand your dissapointment. I've been in a similar situation myself when it comes to a certain rock show where a certain guitar player should appear and the guy drops off the tour only weeks before the concert which I was going to.I have nowhere else to share my pain

Oh it was a blast. Saw some funny panels, great costumes, and had fun feeling out with my boyfriendSo, how was the convention anyway?
I sympathise. Us 'foreigners' miss out.One of my biggest regrets is that Paris has never hosted any Star Trek convention, while the City of Light welcomes in so many others. I'd like to attend one with Voyager's cast, even if there was only some of them.
It seems to be pretty cool. :-)
Did you speak to any of the actors? Who was there (of VOY)?Oh it was a blast. Saw some funny panels, great costumes, and had fun feeling out with my boyfriend

Interesting that you should say this. Hungary has never had a VOY convention, either. However, we've already had Neelix and Q over here in Budapest for some kind of event. And as I mentioned elsewhere earlier, there was one ST convention that I went to where Picard was the guest. Even though I don't like TNG, Patrick Stewart was really funny. I quite liked him actually. He brought along Glenn Close and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers (sp?) as well because right then they were shooting The Lion In Winter here (fyi, Budapest has one of the biggest film studios in the world and several major Hollywood productions are shot here, the last one I remember being BLADE RUNNER 2).I sympathise. I don't think I've ever even glimpsed someone who is famous. Not even once!Did you speak to any of the actors? Who was there (of VOY)?

That would be neat! All fingers crossed for you. You can come and visit me and we'll watch an ep of VOY.
And yes, "lángos" is lovely. We mainly eat it on the beach - that's staples for everyone who goes swimming or bathing in the summer heat!![]()
That would be neat!
I'm about to watch an episode this very minute - Repression. We bought a new TV today - spent too much money but I have to say the Voyager opening looks amazing![]()
It's an LG OLED 65 inchWhat brand & model TV?
Congrats @Lil' Red Riding Hood . I know that it sounds crazy but I really have this obsession with LG. I mean I've had a lot of their stuff and they've never disappointed. Two months ago I bought an LG washing-machine (with a ten-year guarantee!) and guess what? It's the perfect washing machine. It also looks pretty flashy as well with all the buttons and programmes on it. The interface actually looks like the screen of a mini computer. Btw, it has this function called "Download Cycle" which means that it can connect to the Internet and download further washing programmes. Tell me we are not an inch away from Terminator. It's an LG OLED 65 inchWhich in Australia is probably one of the more advanced models available. It has a very user-friendly remote that appealed. To be honest I hate spending money and hubby is the opposite. So I was mentally prepared to get a lesser but still good model until I saw the pictures and realised there is a difference in quality. That being said I would have been okay with the 55 inch, I think the picture was even better than the 65 but that's splitting hairs.
You know I think I want one of those washing machines too now!Congrats @Lil' Red Riding Hood . I know that it sounds crazy but I really have this obsession with LG.
