With the lockout officially done with, time to fire up the league for the upcoming season.

Mr.Coaster, if you wouldn't mind flipping the switch, we can get this thing rolling. Set up a time we can make for a late-August evening (how about the 28th, 8pm EDT ish?) draft, and then I can start my winter-long slide into mediocrity!

Yeah, I've been checking every day for the league to be unlocked so I can figure out who I'm keeping. It's been so long I can't even remember who's all on my team.

I can't make it to the draft on August 28 at 8:30pm EST. I could make it earlier in the afternoon of that day, or the evening of the next day.

Just a reminder to teams in the Gridiron Gurus keeper league that the deadline for choosing your keepers is fast approaching- 4:00 CT August 16th.

I just checked this thread for the first time since I don't check the BBS much at all any more. I have been managing the league since Coaster has not done anything with it, and thankfully I have LM powers as well. The second delayed keeper deadline has now passed.

I am also open to changing draft time any opposition to that?

No problems with the storm itself, but was out all day cleaning up, and forgot the draft. Could have gone worse, although I'd love to have the last few picks left, as the computer dropped off after a nice start...

I seem to have a few misfits and malcontents on my team, but if they stay out of jail and settle their contract disputes, my team could turn out to be decent.

Hate to dig up an old thread, but was I the only one that missed the keeper league deadline for locking in keepers? I might be screwed this year.

That's why I always pre-select my keepers at the end of the season. Leave off the questionable ones, but at the very least, the 3-4 that I know I want will be kept. No accidentally dumping the whole team that way. Do the same thing in the baseball league, always at least have something preliminary set in in case I forget or am away at the time...

Damnit, after all that, forgot we had the draft! On the other hand, looks like Autodraft did ok for me, although my bench isn't special. Somehow, autodraft gets me Matt Ryan every year, it's gotten him for me a couple times now...
