Another poor week. Ok - I officially need some WR help.

I'll trade a top RB and Brett Farve for a good WR.

Isn't it odd that this year there's such a dearth of decent WRs?


I really had to scramble this week in the Yahoo AFC- I had 3 WRs out (Marques Colston, Justin Gage and Joey Galloway). Eventually, I'll probably get a few back, so now's the time to deal with me: I'm willing to give up Frank Gore for a top tier WR. Make your offers now while the market's hot!!

Yikes. Two of my "good" players had a really bad week - TO and Willie Parker. My other WRs simply did nothing, so I'm still feeling the loss of Marques Colston. And Tony Romo didn't have a lot of points either. Stupid Packers pass defense.

ETA: Akiraprise, I'm playing you next week, and if you don't want to get hammered by default, you might want to rotate in your reserve players. 4 on a bye week at once? Ouch.

ETA2: Could we please only use 2 WRs next year? There's pretty much no-one available to replace injured players.

On the plus side I squeaked out a win this week. So I'll be 2-2. Could be worse.

I mustered together a mediocre lineup this week. I couldn't just completely throw in the towel.

Wow, this is getting interesting. Because of the bench sizes, I having to drop players in both my leagues for no reason other than they are going on bye... though when it happens to Denver, don't go looking for Cutler and Marshall- I'll have an inactive QB and WR, even if it means I have to take a loss for it.

I think I'm ok with the byes, even though I'm holding on to the injured Marques Colston, but if Willie Parker is out longer than a week, I'll be in trouble.

I'm hurting at WR in the AFC Yahoo league more than usual this week. Not only am I without Marvin Harrison (bye), but I've got Marques Colston and Joey Galloway out with injuries.

I've got Marques Colston in the NFC league. I've also got Willie Parker, and Julius Jones in on a bye, which has resulted in me playing every active player on my roster this week.

I started Coles in Yahoo, but left him on the bench in ESPN (he had a Q next to his name). So far he has 84 yards and 3TDs for 26 points with 9:22 left in the 3rd! Gah!

In my money league, I benched Brees for Rivers after 3 weeks on the advice of cbssportsline.com.... If I had left him in, I would have won.

I really hope that Minnesota's defense does better next week. I knew Tennessee would kill them this week (and I got a good number of points for it due to Rob Bironas and Chris Johnson) but they've been one of my two weak points all year. (The other has been my TEs.) I'd also be really, really happy if Marques Colston and Willie Parker would come back.

At least I won.

I won in ESPN despite leaving Coles on the bench, but I'm in trouble in Yahoo. Up by 6 or so and Alidar has 2 guys to go - Parker and the Baltimore D.

Actually, I have Hines Ward and the Baltimore defense left. They sorta contradict each other, though (if Ward has a great game, Baltimore's defense won't and vice versa).

Hot damn! My team finally goes out and does what they're capable of.

I hope Anquan Boldin wasn't seriously injured by that end zone collision yesterday, and that has nothing to do with him being on my team. Apparently he had feeling all over his body and could move all of his extremities, so that's good.

Hopefully Ward gives me at least 19 points tonight. That could be doable.

I need a big night from the Baltimore defense for my ESPN team (I'm tied with Long Island Union, who has Holmes going tonight). I also have the Ravens defense going in the Yahoo league, but since I'm down 103.73-141.1 to Technique, I've already put that one in the loss column.

At least my two money league teams won, including the team that started the season 0-3.
