Official Terminator Season Two Spoiler Thread

Thanks for this. Ah, the many uses of the staple gun. ;)

So, I'm guessing that Cameron's "hot baddie" mode will probably get resolved by the end of the S2 opener. I smell some last-moment scenario in which John makes her "remember" who she is just as she is about to kill him.

I'm hoping for a Johnny five moment in which she hooks herself up to a DIEHARD battery

Yeah I think Cameron will be alright by the end of the premiere episode

^ Good point. I hope that the Terminator Dog isn't.

Though I've been rereading the Infiltrator series recently and I have to admit I'm finding a lot of similarities between it and TSCC.

^ I've openly admitted that Smallville is in my top five shows I'm looking forward to the return of. Terminator is number one.

hey cool avatar NX1701g. Shouldn't Camerons terminator head be more akin to TX's? Cameron with the male terminator(much bigger than the females) head is kind of funny.

^ I wish that I could take credit for it. It was an official poster for the series. The bad thing is it looks better in its original size.

Actually we don't know what Cameron looks like as an endoskeleton. We do have a brief glimpse of it though as a scan by Vick in Gnothi Seauton and it does look like a T-800 endoskull on the scan, just modified. Her chip is different though as is the housing.

Judging with how fast paced and quick TSCC was compared to Heroes S2 or Smallville S7, I am thinking this new season TSCC might become my favorite for the year. Though we have to wait and see, H-s3 and Sville-s8 seems to be getting their acts together. :)

^ I have high hopes for Terminator Season 2. They're keeping the spoilers VERY tight (tighter than Jeri Ryan's catsuit in Voyager) but what I've heard has certainly got my interest.

TVGuide is reporting Sarah may have a romance with Agent Ellison this season.

And Cameron may have a relationship with... Derek Reese?

I'm kidding about that, it's been confirmed as not happening. Had you for a second.

the thing i find off about the Turk is that it already seems to be alive, and from the previous descriptins about Skynet is that it didn't become alive until after it had been plugged into the missiles and bollocks...

Do you think "Turk" means Anrgy Child, or Militant Warlord Empire trying to rule the world for the most of last the last millennium?

I think it would be funny as hell if Sarah Connor was responsible for destroying a Benevolent AI that just wanted to live alongside humans and that would have merged with skynet and made it Benevolent, but Sarah being the techno-phobe that she is, and rightly so, destroys this AI and thus is the one actually responsible for all of the Terminator Skynet business.

That would have enough Irony to made out of Iron.

Isn't that how it all started though? Once Skynet gained sentience we tryed to pulled the plug in a panic.

Skynet retalliated( I don't want to die) Russia decides to send nukes. In defense Skynet launches nukes to protect itself.

So all this has been to protect itself from dying even if it means going back in time to kill a resistance leader.

So yeah maybe it would have been better for to just leave skynet alone. It doesn't know the difference between good and evil.

Um

This actually happens in the T2: Infiltrator series except it isn't Sarah that activates Skynet, it's John. Cyberdyne relocates to a military base due to its reassignment to military control. Their scientists aren't able to make the AI operational, but John hears that they're close to making a breakthrough because of a CIA contact he'd made through the still alive Sarah. He and a computer expert (who is his love interest) begin working on a virus to eliminate Skynet, but they need to create a second strain too based upon a benevolent AI that had been under development at Cal Tech. John's friend uploads the virus first but she is killed before she can upload the AI program that would make the virus benevolent. John assumes that both have been uploaded but doesn't check because there is an I-950 (a new terminator model) coming for him. Thinking that the job is done he activates the program before he tries to flee the Terminator, but the only program uploaded is the Skynet program. He smashes the disk securing Skynet's activation.
