When was the last time a movie did an intermission? I've seen a few modern movies that were 3 hours or more and I don't remember any of them having intermissions.

I found in the Netherlands it’s pretty much standard even for regular movies apparently? Or the theater I go to is weird.

I think the last film I saw that had an intermission for a single film was at least thirty years ago (UK though). For the marathons, they did have intermissions between each one.

The Hateful Eight had one (December 2015) although that was kinda on purpose/designed that way rather than the movie theatres just doing it.
