Official Avengers 4 Anticipation Thread

I wasn't really sure if the scale mail would work in live action, but it definitely does, that looks really cool.

I think that has to be the most clothes Hulk has ever worn onscreen.

Honestly, I would be shocked if this wasn't his last film and further shocked if Cap doesn't die.

I have to admit, at this point I don't expect Marvel to kill off Cap just because that is what everyone is expecting them to do.

I'm expecting him to die, but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised by Marvel giving him a satisfactory wrap-up that doesn't involve him dying. Either way, Chris Evans' Cap has been my favorite character in the MCU pretty much since his first movie, so I'm going to miss his presence.

It will be interesting to see what kind of an ending they give him, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was killed, but I would prefer to see him get a happy ending. I guess there is a chance they could a way to do both, but dying generally is not a happy ending.

I'm crossing my fingers for two things to happen, if he dies:

1) Bucky is there by his side to say "I’m with you to the end of the line."

2) In the post-credits scene, we see Cap reunite with Peggy so they can finally have that dance.

Rumor has it the title of the 4th movie is "Avengers: Annihilation"

Considering how Dave Bautista has been very vocal about possibly leaving this could be how it ends for Drax.

I'd rather they didn't use that name, it just makes me think of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.
Which was a grrrreat film.....

I don't think they have a lot to worry about from that comparison, though, considering the whole 500 people who've actually watched it. (Yeah, I saw it, too ;))

Chris Evans has completed working on the reshoots. Sounds like he's really done

...and there goes the far and away best, most interesting / realistically developed character in the MCU, and as close to comic-perfect as this franchise was ever going to get. Cap's absence will leave a Grand Canyon-sized crater that will never be filled.

1) Bucky is there by his side to say "I’m with you to the end of the line."

That might be too predictable, but I would hope he has more than a death moment with Bucky and Falcon.

2) In the post-credits scene, we see Cap reunite with Peggy so they can finally have that dance.

Again, I think that might be too predictable. Cap dealing with consequences out of his control and having to accept it, such as Peggy aging and passing on, strengthened his character, so any "reunion" takes away the fact he would never have the kind of life he wanted "before going into the ice" as he referred to in Age of Ultron. Now, if you mean they reunite in Heaven, i'm not certain I see the Russos going there.
