We saw Iron Man 2 and she liked that. I'll make up for it by taking her to The A Team, but I'm quite sure she'll enjoy that too.
She's pretty good at letting lots of the RomComs go through the theater and then we get it on DVD where I half watch it/half drink whiskey and play with our dogs.

Maybe it would have been clearer if you'd made the initial letters bold.

I was never a huge fan of the HBO series, though I watched it often enough to get the gist of the storylines. Mainly I tuned in to see what sexual hijinks Samantha (Kim Cattrall) was up to. The little slut! (Okay, I take that back. Samantha wasn't a slut. She was just, uh, adventurous.)

But, by all accounts, this new movie is sheer tedium. And aren't those actresses getting a bit old by now? If there's a third movie (God forbid), it'll be Bubbehs in the City.

I enjoyed Sex and the City 2, and I think most critics just couldn't resist easy criticisms ("they're materialistic," "they're racist," "they're self-entitled," blah, blah, blah).

one of the UK Daily Mirror reporters was mad keen on the series and loved the first movie and was SO excited for 2 she LITERALLY couldn't sleep the night before she saw it and she hated it. so when even a hardcore fan says it's crap, it must be.

Eh. My girlfriend loved the show, thought the first movie was depressing crap, and enjoyed the second movie. *shrugs*

The second one was enjoyable fluff, but nothing much more substantial. You really need to switch your brain off to appreciate some of the humour in it. At least the first film attempted to move the characters on in some way.

I really enjoyed the series, but neither film matches the show when it was at its peak. Watching the SATC films is a bit like watching Insurrection or Nemesis - they were really poor attempts at furthering the TNG story, but it was at least cool to see the cast together again.
