"OFF THE MAP" on ABC

They did this one bit on the tonight Show with Jay Leno a few years ago where NBC was cutting they're budget so they created a show where there was a police station, a law firm and a hospital all in one building. I think there was a shoot out in a surgery room during an operation in the bit. it was pretty funny.

It's also a bit remniscient of the subplot on "Children's Hospital" where the one doctor is an ex-cop whose partner stops by from time to time.

The show is supposed to be set in South America, but I keep thinking it's in Hawaii.

They had a father(doctor) and son(copper) pairing in Diagnostic Murder.
There was also Third Watch. Sort of. It had police, paramedics and firemen.

I had an idea like that years ago for a half-hour sitcom:

Lawyer, Doctor, Cop!

A retired Irish-American firefighter-turned-pub-owner has three sons by three different women: a half-black lawyer, a half-Mexican doctor and a half-Asian cop. Every week, they just happen to work on multiple angles of the same overall story before repairing to the pub for catching up and a laugh.

Things get spicy when one of the brothers starts an affair with one of his brothers' mother.

The credits theme goes something like this: "LAWYER... DOCTOR... COP!"

That's not half bad. Ever think of pitching it to them?
Yeah, that is a pretty good idea and pitch.

I watched it because it recorded instead of Private Practice. It wasn't as horrible as I thought but there's nothing even remotely compelling about it.

^ It is filmed in Hawaii.

Er, thanks, Owain Taggart and Agent Richard07, but even I wouldn't want to watch Lawyer, Doctor, Cop, so I'll leave the pitching for someone else. :p

Episode 2.

You got to wait to the end, and you might not be hard up as i am, but the lady ios special to me..,

Full bacl.

It's a nice start for the first of a stream of near nude scenes with Caroline Dhanvers.

I think the most annoying thing for me is how the doctors keep telling each other, "Damnit, I'm a DOCTOR...!!!!" Ugh, the only time anyone I know who has done that is when they were quoting McCoy.
