Nah, it's a minor nuisance at worst.

Needless to say, not a single boo or giggle or expression of dismay in any of the audiences I've seen this with when things like Engineering or the huge size of the shuttlebay are first shown. Probably not one moviegoer out of five thousand is even aware much less objects. Hell, most of the folks who post on TrekBBS don't.
