Octopussy, worst Moore Bond?

Octopussy is lightweight fluff - both Man With The Golden Gun (despite a career-best Christopher Lee) and A View To A Kill (despite a Christopher Walken who's having way more fun than the audience) are both far inferior pieces of shit
Absolutely. All the Moore films were poor, compared to Connery and Brosnan. Dalton's films, I dunno. I'll think about it.

I dunno, I can think of several Moore films I'd take over Thunderball/ Diamonds are Forever or TWINE to be honest.

I liked Brosnan's film in the main. Diamonds is a disaster, I'd have to agree. But overall, Moore's films were just meh. Mind you, he was very good as the original Saint. streets ahead of Val Kilmer. And there was one where he was a mercenary, with Richard Burton and a bunch of other faces, 'Wild Geese', I think it was called, didn't mind that.

In my book, A View to a Kill. Not just Moore, but worst Bond full stop. Octopussy is a close second.

I'd say Live and Let Die is the worst Moore. Although most of them aren't very good.

My order of Moore goes:
Live and Let Die
The Spy Who Loved Me

all the rest
except: A View to a Kill -- it's the worst.

Octopussy isn't that bad. I dislike Moonraker and A view to a kill myself.
Love Roger Moore though. His first three are awesome, and the others are decent enough. I still like Connery best, but Moore is great

and OHMSS is one of the best films in the series.

I don't understand the rabid hate for Moonraker, a ludricrous sci-fi extravaganza that I find more watchable and less annoying than the irritaitingly Generationally-X-ish Die Another Day or even the now plodding GoldenEye. And Roger Moore is a really nice chap.

Octopussy wasn't that bad compared to Man With the Golden Gun. The scenes in the Soviet War Room are cool.

Overall, my favorite Moore film is For Your Eyes Only.

Moonraker had a good villan. That saves it.

All the Moore films generally stink. Connery and Brosnan are the best. I adore Dench as 'M'. I enjoyed Craig's outing.

Okay, folks - in the last Bond film, when 'M' gets the middle of the night phonecall there's a human lump in the bed next to her. Who should it be?

I'd have to say A View To A Kill is the worst Moore - the story was a blatant ripoff of Goldfinger, and Moore was just waaaay too old for the part. Octopussy was probably the second-worst of the Moore era.

Since noone has stepped in to defend him, I will.

I loved all the Roger Moore Bond films.

His sence of humour, the fact that he was old enough to have been in all the adventures he's meant to have been on.

Sure he wasnt as physically menacing as most of the others, but he still had his moments of calous killing.

Kicking the car over the clifff, dropping the guy holding onto his tie, both after they had given him the information he promised would save their lives.

I enjoy all the Bond films, theres good and bad in all of them, but theres not a single one I wouldnt watch again.

"Octopussy" remains to this day the only Bond film I've never managed to watch in its entirety. I have no idea what happens in the last half of the movie.

I assume that means Bond actually dies or something.
