Obvious Stunt doubles...

One thing that is really really apparent with these BLURAY DVDS are the obvious stunt doubles, especially with TOS. I was watching that fight scene with Kirk/Khan and, oye, it was pretty bad.

Then, with Generations, the body double of Soran, as he climbs up the rock face to do whatever he's going to do, is pretty bad too. Didn't even look like him...

What are other glaring 'stunt' double scenes you can think of from any of our TREK favorites?

This! Space Seed is what immediately came to my mind when I saw the thread title. Yeah, the stunt doubles were pretty obvious in this one. They didn't bother me, though. Space Seed is one of my favorite Trek episodes.

Chakotay's butt in "Tattoo". Complete with the deleted and then re-inked butt crack.

Cute but not Beltran's.

If you look closely, even the guy's torso is a different shape to Beltran's.

May have been this guy's naked behind.

But as Beltran used to tell people at conventions, "Enjoy! It isn't mine."

Sue Henley and Kate Mulgrew and the infamous wig.

Chuckling :)

When Picard gets shot with an arrow in Who Watches the Watchers. Clearly not Patrick Stewart.
An acquaintance of mine was Stewart's stunt double in GEN and FC (he also played a borg in FC). Since he was a firefighter, I guess you could say he had the training already! I enjoy looking to see when it is him in the shots.

Pat Talman doubling for Gates when Data pushes Beverly off the boat in Generations

huh..I will look for that one today..I have it on bluray so it should be obvious...

Rob

Pat Tallman also doubled for Daphne Ashbrook in the DS9 episode with the girl who needed a wheelchair in heavier gravity. It was clearly her in the scene where the girl gets shot, but at the time, not having seen Babylon 5 yet, I didn't notice.

And speaking of Kirk and Khan's fight in the engine room, the double were also obvious when Kirk fought Finney in the engine room in Court Martial.

I guess Shatner just didn't like fighting in the engine room.

Admiral Quinn's body double in his fight scene with Commander Riker in "Conspiracy" is VERY obvious.

When Worf fights and kills Gowron in DS9 it is so incredibly obvious that it's not Robert O'Reilly. Not only when he goes through the glass but pretty much the entire fight.

Huh..I hadn't noticed that one...looks like I have an assignment tonight/this weekend..
