You do see a pattern here, don't you...where Obi-Wan Kenobi ripped off William T. Riker! :scream:

Riker grows a beard in the sequel season, so Obi-Wan has to grow one in the sequel film? Come now...

If he wanted to be "original," he should have started-off with the beard in Episode I. Going from babyface to beard is Riker's modus operandi, after all? :vulcan:

^^^ Vermont is known for maple syrups? I did not know that. I guess we learn something new every day.

Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi's development vs. William T. Riker?

It's an enormous industry here and big enough part of the culture and history that they put it on the state quarter.

And a couple of women I know.

Damn those humans for ripping off Star Trek!

Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi's development vs. William T. Riker?

This somehow reminds me of an article I read many, many years ago in Starlog, comparing Indiana Jones and Jiminy Cricket. It had some compelling arguments, too...

Wesley made it to the wedding, alright...but he was too busy fucking the girl he met at the reception afterwards. :p

I think this is a really interesting post, given that it traverses 2 of the best characters, from Roddenberry (except J-LP, Spock and JTK) and his friend Lucas. Vader? Data?
