Obama to save TREK?

Maybe if TREK XI goes belly up, JJ can ask Obama to bail him out.

Seriously, I know Obama is a TREk fan. As I said elsewhere, I had the chance to see the man, in person, a year ago. He was here on the base that I work at, yes I work for the military. Anyway, he noticed that the there was a USS ENTERPRISE (no a-b-c-d) in the trophy case of the command we were all at. He made the spock sign and said, "that's cool". He also went on to say something about how he liked Crimson Tide and the whole banter about Kirk/Scotty in that movie...the guy is a TREK fan, i'll give him that!!!

Maybe Paramount, as they did for TMP, should role out the red-carpet for this new movie and get a big DC debut...Obama giving it a thumbs up could go along way!!!
