NX-TECH BRIEFS!

Re: Concept Art of the starships from EXPANCE!

You know if you removed the two outer booms of the ship depicted on the left side of the drawing, you thickened the center boom (laterally), and canted the nacelles up, or put four nacelles on the ship (two up, two down), and provision for a nav deflector either under the saucer or on the front of the saucer rim you'd have a great design.

In fact, I think it would have been better than the NX

Re: Concept Art of the starships from EXPANCE!

Just so everyone knows I will stop putting up NEW Drex/Eaves files threads! From now on there will be just one THREAD dedicated to all things Drex/Eaves!

^ And as per miraclefan's request, I've merged all of the separate thread into this one. Hopefully this won't cause any exceptional confusion as to individual posts. :)

Re: EUREKA! Mysterious ''ENT Opening credits'' ship discoverd!

If the mods are going to smush all these threads together, can they at least change the title to something less specific, like "Drex Files ship data" or somesuch?

Good Lord, you're right...our whole early space program got eaten by spatial anomalies!
How is that any different from the later Fed Starfleet? ;)

Re: EUREKA! Mysterious ''ENT Opening credits'' ship discoverd!

If it will be about both Drexler and Eaves, maybe something like 'Drex & Eaves Blog Discussion'?

Eaves also has Conestoga drawings and Cardassian shipyard drawings.

'Alias Drexler and Eaves,' is perfect, dammit, because it references the 60s series 'Alias Smith and Jones,' about two reformed bank-robbers trying to make amends for their misdeed to earn a pardon. With all the crap Drexler and Eaves catch from the fandom, it seems appropriate. :)

^ I always wondered what the little ship built into that larger Vulcan cruiser looked like on its own. Interestingly, it is labeled "rescue ship" here. This concept is sensible in an era before transporters were as reliable as in later Treks.

Anybody else notice the simularity to the U.S.S.GRISOM? (Oberth Class)

I hope your not kidding, becuase I always thought that the Oberth's pylon desing was more ''ring'' like then what we are used to seeing from starfleet!
