Andy did say "Can we take it easy on the Spock family?" so they do know it's Spock's dad and not Spock himself.

On a side note, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Pine is nominated next year for Breakthrough Male.

I would have thought he would have said "Spock's Dad" myself. Anyway I may have to consider rescinding my faux indignation.



EDIT: BTW OT, these shows have reeeeeaaaally gone down the tubes in later years. Though the Eminem bit and the is he/isn't he in on the joke thing will probably have some traction.
