In Star Trek, I think somewhere in the 21st century (?), mankind is united after the Vulcans appear on Earth after Cochran makes his historic flight, after the world had faced some limited Nuclear War..I may have messed that summary up, so I am sorry if I did..
But how long do you think we have left? How long do you think mankind can keep stumbling forward before we face our first limited Nuclear War..
So...two questions here
1. Will we ever make contact with intelligent alien life? And if so, would it unite us?
2. How much percent of Star Trek's general future do you think will come to pass. I don't mean klingons or Romulans, but I mean a peaceful Earth united and joining with other worlds in the peaceful exploration of space?
or..is it all a pie in the sky?
