I thought it was clear from the beginning that Abrams wanted this reboot to be a trilogy.. So a part 3 is for sure going to be done...

Hahaha.. Probably because I'm still confident it will be Klingons as the enemy in the next one... Empire can also be Romulans or Cardassians actually..hmmm

No way. Spock was much older when he first got it.

Maybe Spock will have a trauma over not getting it because he's half human and has been depleting the reserve with Uhura all this time.

Spock Prime may well have oppressed the coming of pon farr its first few times.

Spock Prime (Resurrected) entered pon farr at puberty and Saavik had to help him out.

We don't know if this Spock was ever bonded to T'Pring, or is cheating on her with Uhura, or has already hit pon farr (and was saved from death by Uhura)?

I think in the "After Darkness" comic that IDW is putting out, it takes place not long after the movie.

Didn't the Klingons pretty much have Nero's ship is custody for a couple of decades or three?

Where did you get this from?

The deleted scenes in the 09 movie stated that Nero was captured by the Klingons after the Kelvin damaged the Narada. That transmission Uhura intercepted about them losing all those ships was him escaping from Rura Penthe. That has all kinds of plot holes in it too, but it's slightly better than Nero just staring at the ceiling for 20 plus years waiting for Spock to arrive.

I know the actors are all under contract to do 3 movies as of 2009 but I thought I read somewhere that Pine has been contracted to do a fourth as well. No sources I can find. I sincerely doubt that if Star Trek [1]3 is as financially successful as the last two they will stop. Hollywood is not in the habit of leaving money on the table.

i wouldn't mind seeing them do six movies (as a nod to how many the original series made).
