Now that the date is moved to 09, I want to be spoiled

Nowhere Man

Commodore
After seeing the spy pics of Sulu and the "deflector dish" i got to thinking, since the moved has been pushed to may of 09 I'm thinking bring it on, give me everthing you got. I was willing to wait now , I just wanna see everything, I mean why not as long as the plot is not spoiled. does anyone else feel this way?

I figure the delay means a lot more spoilers will leak anyway, so why not. Here's a spoiler for you:
Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto shot a nude scene together.

I'm pretty sure anyone who wants the SPOILERS will get them just like they were easily available for Nemisis. I actually knew about 95% of that movie about a month and a half before it was released. I think for this movie, I want to stay SPOILER free if I can help it, but May '09 is a long time to wait. :vulcan:

Yeah if any major spoilers are leaked I'm going to have to withdraw from Trek websites altogether. I don't mind knowing the small details that we've learned so far, but I sure as hell don't want to know EVERY freaking thing that's going to happen.

I THINK that I pretty much know the plot of the movie (feel free to tell me I'm all wet, of course... but I'm fairly well convinced). So I'm largely "spoiled" already. If I show up and the movie that I see in the theater is totally unrelated to what I read before, I'd be shocked... though it might be more fun that way.

Side note... I knew that JJ Abrams and I were "nearly" the same age. I never knew 'til today that we were born on the exact same date, and within about twenty minutes of each other! And worse yet, his glasses are in the same frame as mine. Same height, same hair...

Spooky stuff... I'm getting that whole "separated at birth" vibe right now!

The main difference is that the guy is a heck of a lot richer than I am (though, with my new job I'm starting in a few weeks, I'm now officially WELL into the six figures, so I'm catching up!)

No. No spoilers for me. As I said when I first joined this place, I completely ruined Nemesis for myself. I want to actually have an experience at the theaters, not seeing something I had already knew about.

But lets be serious,if u had the chance u would read the novelisation and peek @ the comic adaption's last few pages wouldn't you?

Well, then, we can be expecting a nice donation to the FabiusMaximus Fund next Christmas from ye, can we Mr. Ebenezzer Brown? ;)

Ummm, no. Like I said, Nemesis was completely and utterly ruined for me. Not again. Nothing pisses me off more than sitting in a theater watching something for the first time and going, "And after this, X will happen." or "Hey! This is an obvious foreshadow to Y!" I would like almost all of it to be left to my imagination until opening day.

I can sum up my thoughts on that topic with just two words...

"Bah, Humbug!" ;)

I know what u mean,it's been years since I've walked into a cinema not knowing what to expect,I remember seeing kahn when I was 9,Imagine kahn in the internet age..or any other classic movie from the 70's or 80's!

I guess what i mean is not so much plot details, but mostly just spy pics and things of that nature, not plot elements
I can agree with you there! Bring on the spy pics!!

Nope. I've never done so in the past, why start now?

Plot wise, I dont mind finding out a few juicy bits and pieces but certainly not everything. Broad strokes are fine, but I don't really want the details. I don't mind finding out about A, B and C - but I dont want to know how A gets to B or C. Or indeed how L leads to M. And certainly not Z.

Anyone tells me about X, Y and Z and I will be severely displeased.

:D
