All right, folks. There were only two entries for this month's theme. Still, I think it was a good month.

All right. Here are the contestants:

Gul Re'jal's Shaping a Cardassian: "Is There Any Forgiveness?"

Cobalt Frost's "Thus Far I Am Got On My Journey..."

Here are the rules:

As there are only two entries, you are allowed one vote each.

Do not vote for yourself. (Also...I wouldn't recommend a "courtesy vote" for the other contestant. Sorry...but again, there's only two.)

Okay--the deadline will be Sunday, December 4, at precisely 1:51 Eastern Standard Time.

Let's roll!

Yup. And the best part: I obviously can't call a run-off vote, because...THERE ARE ONLY TWO ENTRIES!!!

Don't worry. Worst comes to worst...I'll think of a number from 1 to 10...or...something....

EDIT: Look's like the tie's broken, for now....

Ladies and gentlemen...WE HAVE A WINNER!

Cobalt Frost, get your idea for the December Theme in gear! Don't forget to post your tale in the "winning entries" forum.

Thanks to Frost and Re'jal for their contributions.

And to one and all--thank you for voting!

Wow, an actual win! (Not a default win like the August challenge :D ) Thanks to all who voted, and Gul Re'jal for her excellent entry; I was definitely up against some stiff competition. Writers like you make me step up my game. Thanks again to all involved.

December challenge to follow presently (no pun intended)...
