Nostalgic for the old PsiPhi days...

I wonder if anyone knows the current status of Jackie Bundy, Jim McCain, and Baerbel Haddrell? Or Steve Roby (although I think I saw some posts of his here when I was searching for posts about the old PsiPhi board?
Steve Roby still posts here from time to time and has an active Facebook account. Jackie Bundy and Jim McCain have Facebook accounts that look to be currently active. Baerbel last posted here in 2011; I can’t find a Facebook account.

So, to see one’s signature, I have to click on his or her name, then click on Profile, then click on Information? (Seems like a lot of steps to have to take.)
It appears below every post I make... unless you have selected a setting that turns that off? Or brand new users don't see them, or something?

There’s an option under “Preferences” in the “Your Account” page to “Show people's signatures with their messages.” I would guess youngtrek doesn’t have that box checked.

I hadn’t noticed before that you’re reading the forum on a phone browser. That may be why you’re not seeing signatures even though the box is checked. My phone browser doesn’t show them either. Not sure if there’s a way to override that.

I can also confirm Jim McCain is still around. Just chatted with him for several hours a few weeks ago about his memories of fandom in the 80s and 90s. Another of the Star Trek Timeliners.

David, it seems you were involved with the group at one point as well? If you want to lend a hand again and see how the project is going these days, send me a PM.

Thanks, but my primary contribution to the Timeliners Back in the day was having saved a copy of everything that had been done at one point when someone’s computer crashed or something like that and I was able to provide a copy of what had been lost. That’s how I earned my honorary Timeliners badge. :-)

Hello, all. I just signed up here at the Star Trek BBS a few days ago. But I know quite a few of you from back in the day at the old PsiPsi message board. Some of you I still see on Facebook and what not.

Hi David,

I'm still here!

I wasn't able to use TrekBBS until I moved from my original PowerMac to a lampbase iMac, when suddenly the new browser permitted TrekBBS to load properly. Not long after, the hosting service for PsiPhi went defunct and, for a time, the site moved to a page off comicbookboards. Eventually, everyone just gave up on trying to keep up with what was left of PsiPhi. Last time I followed an old bookmark, there were online questions that had gone unanswered for years.

I finally got to Shore Leave in 2014.

There were attempts in 2006 and 2007 to keep ex-PsiPhi-ers on TrekBBS in the loop:
