Northeastern US storms!!

Yeah, here on Lawngeyeland in Suffolk we have lots of big old trees down. We had lots of big bad wind (shades of "THe Happening") but not too bad as far as rain. We lost some pieces of siding...luckily we didn't lose power. We stayed in and watched lots of MST. Had fun!

Another LIer? My heavens.

The rain started Friday night, but the storms kicked in early Saturday morning. We've had torrential rains and wild winds a' blowin' for two and a half days now. We've had some minor flooding around (Newport Ave always floods), but nothing too bad.

Right now my phone is out, but I've still got power and Internet.

I just got a picture taken from the office.

I don't think anyone is gonna be working in the lower level tomorrow.

And my DSL is being hella flaky. I suspect there's damage to the lines somewhere.

Springfield MA is fine, the weekend didn't have any large amount of rain, just the normal amount of stabbings and bullets flying.

I'm in Framingham. We got 8.4" of rain over the last 3 days per weather.com.

The Sudbury and Assabet rivers have crested above flood stage, but other than soaking some fields and yards, haven't caused much damage.

You left the faucet running again?

Oh, har har. :p

I just got back from the office. There's no power, other than a generator running the servers. It's cold and sewage has come into the lower level so it smells bad. I'm working from home today!

Hell yeah. South Shore, Suffolk County.

Levittown, Nassau for me. Not quite as nice as your place.
