Non-Trek references in LDS

"Hotchie motchie" was uttered by Boimler in an episode... :luvlove: Fans of "The Critic", especially the ABC version, will probably home in on that one. (I revcall him mentioning Quantas as well, which - if memory serves - was mentioned in LD too, but that's a bit more generic...)

A more unsubtly subtle reference, "I'm a believer" is uttered by Rutherford, after a crewmember states the Monkees is on her playlist. (More a stepping stone, since TOS had Chekov introduced to not only appease Pravda but Davy Jones fans too, complete with "the wig"(tm)...)

How many have you found?

(yeah, I unintentionally bent my own rule a teensy bit with the Monkees bit, but it's not necessarily a correlation since it was indirect... that, and TOS did that first and intentionally. :nyah: )

Episode 2 features a noise like the sonic screwdriver that was never heard in any Trek series before, plus a direct reference to Kaylon and one of their specific traits ("The Orville") :D
