Non-Humanoid Collage

This is a study for a collage that I was working on after posting this one of less-popular Trek aliens. I never finished it and at this point don't plan to, but I came across it recently and thought I'd share. I love non-humanoids and hope we see more in Trek as they become less expensive to realize. I loved the variety of species on the crew in the Treklit series Titan.

What's the B-something, though? Looks like it's from TNG era, but I don't recognise it?

It’s not a memorable one lol but I remembered the out-there shape of the alien and looked it up in Memory Alpha.

A lot of the names of the aliens are from Memory Beta — eg: Gelki for “Junior’s” species from TNG’s “Galaxy’s Child.”

EDIT: Also, I don’t want to be insulting to little people. I am aware the Ithenites are completely humanoid, but I did throw them in along with the Hirogen from their first appearance on VOY and (at one point) the really tall background aliens from TOS’s “Journey to Babel,” because I appreciated it whenever the show used human variety to its advantage. Also cool were female actresses for the first Talosian (presumably) males.

I did wonder at the inclusion of the Hirogen, then when I saw the Ithenites I assumed you were going for outside the perceived human norm - after all, variety is the spice of life (P.S. I really like the positivity you instill in "used human variety to its advantage")
I must admit, I was disappointed that the Discovery Talosians weren't portrayed by female actresses (although, I can't recall if they were ever identified as "he" or "she"?).

Well, two of the three Talosians in ”If Memory Serves“ were in fact portrayed by female actresses. But yeah, they cast a guy for the role of the Keeper this time around.

All the aliens were seen in canon (which now includes TAS per PIC?) except the Legarans (who the Enterprise was prepping for in TNG’s “Sarek” but only seen in a comic) and the Jarada (whose image is a placeholder of an insectoid criminal from Babylon 5).

Well, two of the three Talosians in ”If Memory Serves“ were in fact portrayed by female actresses. But yeah, they cast a guy for the role of the Keeper this time around.

The brilliance of “The Cage” was that the male Talosians, over a long evolution, developed massive powerful brains and weak androgynous bodies — Pike could have ‘snapped the Talosian’s neck’ easily he said. Presumably they were male Talosians as they originally had booming dubbed male voices, plus chauvinistic conventions of the time.

DSC suggested the original Talosians were just the females of their species as the new lead Talosian was a large square-jawed Charles Napier type.

^ I do understand all that and quite agree. Was just pointing out the fact that the majority of Talosians on Discovery were in fact portrayed by women.

These are intelligent non-humanoids or I would have included nasty little Cardassian voles and Klingon targs too among others.
