That's a brilliant marketing ploy. I wonder how long it took them to go out of business.

Apparently, standard cleanliness tests done on hotels, including those in the luxury range, revealed that without fail, there were remnants of semen everywhere - carpets, headboards, furniture, cushions, etc etc... including the room's Holy Bible.

I just might be rather reassured by a hotel banning sex. I wish I'd never come across that piece of information, I used to live in ignorant bliss!

No TV...and no sex?!!?
That is hillarrious.
Wait a minute...doesnt lack of TV just encourage people to have sex in the room?

I think they need to soundproof the rooms somehow.

It is possible to have quiet sex so I would probably just do have that.

Not as fun.

That's so fucking stupid. Why not just ask them to turn off the TV too, as those bastards can get pretty loud as well.
I've been a couple of hotels-- higher end ones too- that didn't have any TV or radios in the rooms. I worked a season job at a Jameson Inn where they took the TVs out because it allowed them to cut costs.

I remember a study done a while back that said couples with TV's in the bedroom had half as much sex as those that don't.

As for the sign, it would probably be as effective as you average "no food or drink allowed in the classroom" signage. It's not the champagne room were talking about here.

Here in China, I stayed at a 4 star hotel. In the guest info pack was a "morality notice" reminding people that they were not to have sex in the room; not because of the noise, but because casual sex is "not allowed".

Then my wife and I go downstairs for a drink and we have to walk through ten prostitutes loitering on sofas at the entrance to the bar. While one even came up to proposition me while we were sitting at our table. But in China, if you get offended, you would be getting offended about 40 times a day. Not worth the work involved.

Later, I saw the guest service manager come down to tell one of the girls where her next appointment was. I guess it's all part of the business. This is why I never accept unsolicited "room service" in hotels. And believe me, young pretty hotel employees do knock on the door. No matter if you're honeymooning with the wife in a 5 star resort.

Nice place. Very moral. Kudos!

To the original question, considering that the only times I have stayed in hotels, I have shared a room with 3 other guys...the answer is no.

Where is Benidorm? Never heard of the place. Besides which, it's a frakking hotel!!! If you have a desire for ABSOLUTE desire for sex-less / TV-less peace & quiet, rent the local church basement for your group or go camping in the bush alone.

Where is Benidorm?

Trashy town in Spain on the Costa del Sol, regularly infested in the summer by British and other assorted tourists, there largely to drink beyond human tolerance, have copious amounts of unsafe sex and get sunburnt. Was allegedly quite a pretty place in the pre-package tour era...
