I watched it all the way through and it always seemed like a series in a constant state of retooling.

The kid side of it was cliched and angst-y, while the adult side was anywhere from campy to convoluted.

Overall the series had moments of character awesomeness but they were sprinkled in just a little too few and far between.

I loved Autumn Reeser & Romany Malco's characters, but even so, the show's writing never really lived up to the established plot's potential.

I watched Smallville for 10 seasons, so I probably would of kept watching No Ordinary Family just to see where it all might go, but it's not hard to see why they canceled the show. Especially looking back on it.

I do miss Julie Benz though. (And Autumn Reeser)

It started off with a good pilot but became repetitive way too quickly. The plots with the kids were absolutely stupid.

I watched it and liked what I saw, but it was aired against two returning shows that I liked already, so I only saw maybe two or three episodes.

I plan to pick up the DVD when it's released. Unfortunately, the network announced some time ago that there would be no second season, and the actors who played the parents signed on for other series months ago.

It was quirky and weird. I liked that.

I enjoyed it. It was light-hearted and fun for the most part and I could watch it with my oldest boy without worrying about content...

It lacked a real direction for a while, only to really finally come into focus near the end. You haven't seen the finale yet, so I won't spoil it, but I feel that the very last scene should have happened a little bit sooner in the season.

I liked it. Curious note - Autumn Reeser was on Royal Pains this week and Julie Benz was on the show last week.

Yeah, the best part was the pilot. After that, I increasingly got frustrated at the direction things were going in to the point that I lost interest because it was getting obvious that it was getting nowhere fast.

I bailed on it early. I liked the concept but the tonality was too mawkish for my tastes. But most network TV is like that.

It wasn't good enough to have another season, either in terms of ratings or quality. I'm happy the timeslot is freed up so ABC can roll the dice again this fall.
