Jim saves a man's life, and bonds with him, his wife, and their kids. However, Jim wonders if their new friends are concealing something. Meanwhile, Daphne runs for student council President, and Katie talks to Stephanie about her boyfriend.

Is it me, or did we expect this guy to be a lot prettier in this amazing future back when we were watching Silver Spoons?

Weird show, you think its all Disney, and then ZANG it just goes dark.
 
I haven't seen 1x11 yet but I have been enjoying this show a great deal.

I re-watched Star Trek last week and only just realised that JJ is young Kirk!
 
Stopped watching after 7-8 episodes... show can't decide what it wants to be. It does fluff pretty badly, and often, and noir quite well, but rarely.

No one better tell Dekker, he might take advantage of this opportunity to kill young Kirk so that Shatner doesn't take The Enterprise away from him and his bald Girlfriend isn't eaten by V'Ger.

It's really weird when they show us "cast photos" and the villains are just ordinary people chumming around with their coworkers.

I thought the show was good at first, but it's quickly become very silly like a lot of shows have this season. I'll really be surprised if it gets picked up for a 2nd season.
 
I thought it started silly and then begun to get good. as you saw it pushing past the silly.

Not great, but not Zoom Academy either.
 
I started off really not caring about this show, but as it went along it definitely got better and I liked the characters a lot more.
 
I wonder if Katie's first time will result in her getting pregnant with a super-powered kid. This could very well be a way to work in Autumn Reeser's real-life pregancy.

The actress, 30, is expecting her first child with husband Jesse Warren. She has already devised plans for incorporating her pregnancy into her No Ordinary Family character's story line. "My character is not so great with men, but it is a superhero show, so it could be a magical something that just happens," Reeser told Jimmy Kimmel. "You never know -- stranger things have happened!"

If they go this route, it'll make things intersting. Unfortunately, I see cancellation as a real possibility in the not too distant future.

Never knew that.

Also, the mid season finale with whatsherface losing her memory was resolved rather quickly.
 
You know, I like this show, but I don't see it moving past the premise they have going on right now... like ever, and that's the reason why I don't see it getting a second season.
 
I'm really enjoying the show and applaud them for going relatively slow and letting the superhero aspects build over time. And it is most definitely building, despite what people around here seem to think.

I think the biggest problem people have is the show isn't what they wanted it to be, thus it's rubbish by default. Which is complete and total nonsense if you ask me.

It's a family show. It's not a hardcore sci-fi/superhero fantasy extravaganza. Once you get past that ignorant preconceived notion, it magically transforms into a really nice little show. But people around here can't seem to get past their own limitations like that.

Oh well. Their/your loss. :)
 
Maybe I missed a bit but how did they resolve the daughter loosing her memory?

Speaking of the lab assistant, she is extraordinarily beautiful. My god.

I enjoy the show quite a bit. It isn't supposed to be some dark, super serious show ala Heroes which took it self way to seriously. It's a fun light hearted, family show and I got no problem with that. I look forward to it every week and the underlying plot has been progressing pretty steadily now. Also that lab assistant is pretty hot so that does help.

ok whats up with Watcher guy? why does Evil Boss warn him his GF will think he's a nobody without the powers? he wasnt supposed to reveal his powers to her anyway. I keep thinking theyre gonna do like Daphne from Heroes... or maybe he was a junkie & with the powers crack gone he will have to go back to his former addiction...

Confidence can come from many places.

You ask Samson after it all went so horribly wrong, if shagging Delilah till she wilted was worth it, and he'll say "Totally dude."

But do you think Delilah still gave a toss about him after her boss cut out his eyes? And tied him to a couple pillars tossing scraps at him like he was a dog for a few years?

Chained and cold he went to sleep every night hating himself for thinking about her naked bosoms even though she castrated his strength destroyed his army and probably killed all his friends and family.

He was thinking about how to get her back and snuggle, but he had nothing she wanted anymore so he was shit out of luck.

Women are the best.
