Cop show. British. Modern day Manchester. Nothing but female leading Characters, kicking ass and taking names. Excellent use of swears. A little bit of violence. No nudity. Dry dysfunction humour. Such fun. :) (Yes, it's Becky from Utopia.)

I'm finishing off season 2 currently, which is focusing on an intersection between the Caribbean Mob and a Pedophilia ring... Season One's arc was about hunting a rapist targeting Down Syndrome women, which hardly paints a safe place for comedy, but the series manages to swing well between horror and humour efficiently.

It's bloody good. :)

Anyone watching?

Ahh this one. The adverts for this show have been, frankly, horrid, filled with poor humour and OTT characterisations. I took it for a "knowing" pastiche, rather than an actual police show with comedic elements.

Being in The Job, I am constantly butting againt TV Cop Drama Tropes and Reality and, generally, I am able to suspend my disbelief enough as long as the remainder of the show is well put together.

Having just ploughed through three series of Line Of Duty, which I ended up greatly enjoying even with all its plot contortions and failed attempts as police accuracy, this, as advertised, looked crass and without obvious merit, so put it on the AVOID list.

As it's you @Guy Gardener I will give the first episode a spin if I can find it, especially now I've realised it was created by Paul Abbot, of Shameless fame :)

Hugo - not mater how hard he tries, simply can not take Will Mellor seriously in a dramatic role
