No greenlight yet for BATMAN 3

I don't think Nolan would attempt to outdo "The Dark Knight". His first comments about a sequel reflect that statement. I think he and Jonah will tell they best story they can think of and that's all anyone can really expect of them. I'm excited for whatever they can come up with...as for Ed Norton he'd be terrific in any role in a Nolan film Riddler or otherwise.

Hey, if Jake Gyllenhaal became the next Batman and they continued the storytelling in this universe and wanted to use some footage or photos of Rachel, they'd have to use Katie Holmes, right? They wouldn't use Maggie, would they? :p
If they didn't that would be way way way creepy.

The latest word, from Nolan himself:

"It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way," says Nolan. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so… If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it."

Hang on, that's not 100% clear: so we can safely assume you're directing?

"I think you can at this point, yes."
This doesn't really tell us anything new, but hey, it's one step closer to a confirmation! :D

In Batman 3, we'll find out that Riddler (Leonardo DiCaprio) was using Inception to get into Alfred's head to find out the secrets of Batman.

Good news. It sounds like he was procrastinating about production...we all know how stressful the last one was for him, I'm sure he was probably mentally psyching himself up for this. Unless of course that Chris being tongue-in-cheek.

It won't happen. I suspect it won't see the light of day until well after the movie is released like "Inception" and "The Dark Knight" will be in ultra-lockdown.

You wouldn't believe the ludicrous amount of requests among script traders for near impossible block buster scripts. I think I've pulled out most of my hair in frustration telling people most if not all of them will not be available. Hell as I've said in discussions with you before the final drafts for "Mission Impossible III" (which is among the holy grail of scripts it seems), "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2" are not available.

If it's major news it'll sweep all the major entertainment and comic websites as well. Can't wait to find out what it is. I hope it's not just Nolan confirming he's directing, and Christian Bale is reprising his role lol.
