And here I thought the producer Steinberg and Bear McCreary did a great job writing the show and making (TV's biggest) live-composed soundtrack!
Why did FOX fire them? I don't like the changes that the new guy in charge, matt miller, are bringing to season 2:

Two new female characters (for the sake of having females?), destruction of the old office set, and inclusion of pop songs?
I like Tim Jones' soundtrack on Chuck, but his synthesized (less expensive) music will undoubtedly pale in comparison to mccreary's 60-piece live orchestra.
This news makes watching this video of Mccreary's last recording session for the season 1 finale a bit sad:
