NIN in concert?

So, Nine Inch Nails are touring North America. The nearest locations they will be showing:

* Lexington, KY
* Toledo, OH
* Cleveland, OH
* Chicago, IL

Chicago, I am not keen on because... well, it's Chicago, and huge, and it's part of Lollapalooza. And I don't really want to go to all that hassle. The other three are equally convenient--four-hour drives or less.

Does anyone have any experience with those three cities OR with NIN concerts in general?

I've seen Nine Inch Nails 4 times. Once was as outdoor all day festival where they co-headlined with Soundgarden and Marilyn Manson, Pop Will Eat Itself, The Reverend Horton Heat and some other band opened. Molson Park. Great show.

Once when they opened for David Bowie. That was great. Skydome.

Once when A Perfect Circle opened. Air Canada Centre.

And once when The Jim Rose Circus Sideshow and Marilyn Manson opened. Maple Leaf Gardens.

Nine Inch Nails are always amazing live. I recommend the experience.

I want to go, and I'll be living near Oakland when they play there. Dunno if I can convince anyone to come with me though. . . at least anyone who will buy their own ticket. The site says sold out, but it doesn't look sold out on the ticketmaster page. Hrmm. .

I dont do concerts but I read theyre gonna have some craaazy new tech oriented show stuff for it...hope they release a dvd.

The presale tickets are sold out. The normal tickets are still available.

I saw NIN opening for The Jesus and Mary Chain a month before Pretty Hate Machine was released, before anybody knew who they were. For the record, they blew JaMC out of the water.

In the past NIN played here in Lincoln, Nebraska. Now they're not even coming close. Not Omaha. Not Kansas City.

Gas prices have really screwed over the concert season. It used to be I could catch four or five good name acts. Now no one is scheduling tour dates in the area.
