Nicktoons to air DRAGONBALL Z KAI and new VOLTRON series

I was watching the final fight between Goku and Vegeta and I think they are cutting out violence. Vegeta gets punched in the gut by Goku and they have this extreme close up of Goku's face and you can't see his arm. Then all the footage of Vegeta stepping on Goku seems cut from what I remember. It seems like they are using the 1990s Spiderman cartoon rules. Punching was forbidden, but explosions were okay.

I think those may be Nicktoons' editing the action. I have a friend with some Japanese raws, so I'll check.

I think the Voltron live-action movie may be dead again.

Voltron producers Richard Suckle and Ted Koplar confirmed to MTV that the live-action feature film adaptation is still in development, and that a new screenwriter would be announced soon

Suckle confirmed that once they hire a new screenwriter, they will start completely from scratch and not incorporate any of the ideas from previous drafts. So what is the pitch for the new producers?

It was kind of a given that the producers still want to do a Voltron movie, but the project as it currently stood was dead in the water. A need to "start completely from scratch" pretty much confirmed the demise of that approach.

Meh I wouldn't hold my breath on either a live action Voltron or Robotech movie.

I tend to agree, but I think it may be a race to see which gets out first (usually the one with the most money to get things done quicker, IMO).

DBZ Kai in my opinion would be good if they had redone the WHOLE THING, the drawing, fight sequences, pretty much what it looks like in the intro.

Otherwise, i think it's just a waste of time and money because they've already remastered the series. Especially for people who don't have Nicktoons so we have to see it on this thing on UPN (or whatever the hell its called now) called Toonzai where 4Kids got ahold of it and made ridiculous edits (blue Popo, orbs instead of halos, turning frieza's attack rainbow instead of black).
