I never heard Paris called "Helmrat," but the female Q did refer to him as "Helmboy." And isn't "Parisite" was the term for a Paris fan?

Janeway had the canon nicknames of "Kath" (from Mark), "Kathy" (from Q), and "Katie" (from Michael Sullivan).

In addition to "Chuckles," Chakotay also had the canon nickname of "The Maquis Mauler" ("The Fight"). I've seen him referred to in some fanfic as "Chief."

Another canon nickname for Torres was "Maquis" -- Harry called her that in return for her dubbing him "Starfleet." Or maybe it was the other way around. Man, "Caretaker" was a long time ago!

Also, I've seen Seven of Nine referred to as "Sixty of Nine" and "Barbie of Borg."

I never heard Paris called "Helmrat."

He gets called that by T/7 slash writers.

I believe Paris called Neelix "hedgehog" once, though that was in that "Living Witness" holodeck propaganda thing.

I was unaware that Leonardo ever wrote her name down anywhere, and if he did, that it would be readily visible to the viewing audience. Perhaps you could provide the name and scene in the relevant episode? Since there are about three channels that show Star Trek every day in my area -- and Voyager is on 5 days a week, I'd like to know just which episode to pay careful attention to for this detail.

I always thought it started with a "K" as well but considering igauna_tonante is in Italy I'll take his/her word for it.

Perhaps it's a matter of his accent - he meant to call her Cantina due to her love of coffee.

I can't think of any cannon ones that haven't already been listed, unless you count "The Faerie Queene," as the villagers in Fair Haven decided Janeway was in "Spirit Folk," as insinuated by the copy of "The Faerie Queene" by Edmund Spencer given to her by Michael Sullivan.

As for fan ones, have I just overlooked it or has no one mentioned Janeway being called "The Bun of Steel" during Voyager's first run?

I also heard "10 of 10," "The Borg Implants," and something about a floatation device for Seven around that time.

"The Wooden Indian" was also used to describe Beltran's demeanor as Chakotay long before I decided to make it dirty one day while watching "Resolutions."

Hm...I wonder if the username Wrongway Janeway would also semi-count, even though it's the nickname of a user on this board, rather than the actual character it was based on.

No such thing as a K in Renaissance Italy, I believe. And Old Europe (until not so long ago) didn't take so much liberty with spellings of first names - for anyone who could spell.
Caterina (or Catarina, less often) is standard Italian for Katherine (or Katharine, etc.) Like Catherine is the French spelling.
