I've been reading a lot about Nichelle Nichols and her contributions to NASA and getting more minority groups, especially women of color, into science and become astronauts. She was a supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. And, similar to my first point, just by being on TV as a woman of color was an inspiration to girls and possibly boys of color that the stars are not the limit to what they could be.
Could that make her the most influential actor in all of Star Trek?
