Yes, we all want to see the rebirth of the Kirk-Spock-McCoy thing, but let's talk about the oddball specific interests you have that you want explored in this movie and future ones.

I've always wanted more with Kirk and Uhura. I like the big brother-little sister type interaction they have (although it seems their ages will be more close in the recasting?), the way Kirk encourages Uhura to be more self-confident and daring. If they make Uhura too self-confident right off the bat, it will ruin this dynamic.

I guess at this point I wouldn't be sure.

I would need to see the movie, see what's there and what's not and see
what I have feelings about when it comes to that kind of thing.

At the moment, nothing really because I don't know what they do or don't
cover yet.

Even if you didn't know what they cover, what do you want them to cover?

Knowing nothing beyond: the crew is together on the Enterprise for the first time. What do you want from that?

I've heard some "fanon" that says Chekov is a 'wunderkind' of sorts. I don't know if this came from novels or what (I don't read Star Trek novels), but I would like to see something like that explored.

That would be one way to explain a 19-year old on the ship (that is, if Yelchin is playing him as a 19-year old).
