"Nice beard" (Spoilers?)

I was skimming through "The Body Electric", and I got a laugh from Worf complimenting Wesley on his beard, possibly in reference to how Wil Wheaton looks nowadays. I'm guessing that's also why Bashir had a beard in a recent novel. On the other hand, Sisko seems to reverted back to how he looked in Seasons 1 and 2 of Deep Space Nine.
