It's been a fun day of Hockey so far. Pittsburgh is out, and Edmonton and Chicago are tied heading into the third. Toronto is on the brink as well.

So who saw the entirety of Tampa/Columbus yesterday? I did not, but I watched basically from the second OT to the end. I wouldn't be adverse to changing the OT format in the playoffs. I don't want the shootout, but what about OT1 is 5 on 5, OT2 is 4 on 4, and OT3+ is 3 on 3. Basically you keep the spirit of OT but games won't go 5 hours or more. Now the Carolina/Boston game is in OT and I worry we might have a duplicate of last night.
They probably should have rethought the endless overtime for a season where everyone plays in the same arenas.
I don't want shootouts in the payoffs but they could at least start reducing the number of players on the ice after the first OT.

Can't believe how much Colorado dominated Arizona. Hopefully they can do the same thing to Vegas.
