Sad but true, Neroon. Sad but true. When you can send a person into tears because you don't sound "happy enough" when they call you on the phone (not the first time by a loooooong shot in my 40+ years) you don't sweat the obnoxious coaches who like to suck toes.

Mom stopped trying years ago because her doctor couldn't get her meds right. Its a fun way to live when you're over 40 and it's still happening. I just don't have the strength to pretend anymore....and she hates me for not putting on a happy act even when I make perfectly pleasant conversation with her. Pretty exhausting, you know? :( She makes Rex look like he's a valium addict by comparison. Hey, at least she hasn't called back yet. These calls usually come in pairs.

I want to know what mental midget decided to call a timeout on 3rd and 4 with a minute left, apparently because the play absolutely needed to be fucking changed to an end-around to Bennett against the Packers' monster line. Yeah, that's a GREAT fucking idea.

I WANT NAMES.

Aren't the Jets supposed to be one of the best rushing teams in the league? They've gained a net 1 yard rushing in the entire first half.

My apologies as I honestly thought you were joking. :o It was really the Rex Ryan part that got me to chuckle

Lovie Smith, maybe?

I think his time in Chicago may be coming to an end. Consistency my ass. I mean, he's certainly a step up from Dick Jauron, but the playcalling is just outright stupid sometimes. He always seems disinterested too. I would bet good movie that Lovie not only called that play, but thought it was the BEST PLAY EVER.

Yeah, but the announcers were talking quite a bit about how upset the Steelers D was after the way the Jets ran at them the last time they played

I am very impressed with the way the Jets have come out on the second half with attitude and confidence. They absolutely HAD to have a touchdown on that first drive and go it. now they're moving the ball reasonably well. This may be a game yet!

Niiiice four-down stand on the goal line, Pittsburgh. Just a few more minutes, and then I can stop rooting for you guys.

Btw, 10 straight different NFC champions in the last 10 years:

2001: St. Louis
2002: Tampa
2003: Carolina
2004: Philadelphia
2005: Seattle
2006: Chicago
2007: NY Giants
2008: Arizona
2009: New Orleans
2010: Green Bay

Only Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Minnesota, San Francisco, and Washington have been left out of the party this decade.

Jets should have tried an On-Side kick to recover it and go for the end-zone again for a TD, and a win. I'd really like to have seen them in the Super Bowl but looks like it'll be Pittsburgh and Green Bay. Go Green Bay!

Sob. I really didn't want to see Ben the Big R in the Super Bowl. :scream: At least it wasn't him and Vick. Thank the maker for small favors.

EDIT-and that catch is the game. Shit.
