It's nice when they both lose and you get a double Manning face.

Can't wait for the showdown in Foxboro next week.

So where's Davros and the 4th hanson bro? I've been waiting patiently for my favorite Denver fans to show up!

;)

Wonder by McDaniels probably didn't win favor with his old boss when he commented on the Pats' previous video transgressions.

From Peter King's MMQ on cnnsi.com.

And who spilled information from a private meeting McDaniels had with his coaches Friday to Fox's Jay Glazer -- information that the Patriots' taping practices, in Glazer's words, quoting McDaniels at his meeting, "that was practiced, that was coached, that was worked on.'' Some would view that as throwing the Patriots under the bus.

If coach Bill hates Mangini for taking the Jets job years ago, I'd be surprised if he didn't shoot McDaniels for this one.

The story of the day: Michael Vick got intercepted, and lost a game that he started and finished. He isn't immortal.

McDaniels was in my doghouse when he started fist pumping and other puerile antics, after the Broncos defeated the Patriots at home last year.

As for that insufferable rat Mangini, the biggest reason why Belichick detests that man is he stole personnel and scouting information from the Patriots field offices before he left. Pennington even commented, after the fact, that he was surprised how much scouting information the Patriots had accrued regarding him.

Yeah, he didn't make a fan out of me after that game either. It's great you started 6-0, how's life treated you since?

I discovered there wasn't a bottle of vodka big enough to make this season disappear. What a fucking joke of a season.

The guy's not much older than most of his players. I'd rather see some emotion on the sideline from the coach though.

McDaniels is a goner after embarrassments on and off the field. I'm surprised he's lasted this long.

I can't find the story right now, but rumors out of Denver are that Bowlen's suffering early Alzheimer's and is slowly not being in day to day control of the team.

The other issue is the labor situation for next year. Bowlen's already paying Shanahan to coach somewhere else and I don't think he wants to pay McHoodie to not coach while paying a third coach for a season that may not happen.

Denver's only paying the difference between Shanahan's Denver salary and whatever Washington's paying him (actually, I seem to recall hearing that Denver was getting something like $7 million back from Shanahan after he signed his Washington deal), so the whole "paying three coaches" thing is a construct of the newspaper writers moreso than it is reality.

Sure, the public display of emotion from a head coach is not frowned upon, at least not in my circle.
However, making an ass of oneself is.

When you consider the context, I think it was appropriate and I liked it.... he was in the midst of a 5 game winning streak during a season where they were predicted to go 4-12 and he just did what very few ex-Patriots ever do: beat Master Bill. I can't blame him for celebrating with the fans.

Dear Texans fans,
We the Titans fans wish to apologize for making you pay full price to see what amounted to an effort on our part akin to the first preseason game in August. In addition we hope to improve and straighten our shit out so that no other NFL fan base will feel cheated for the remainder of the season.

Sincerely,
The 5-6 Titans.

Wow...I've never seen anything like that fight.

Yesterday was an awful, awful day of football. Actually, it's pretty much been an awful weekend - the only good thing that happened that I care about was the Cowboys losing. Otherwise, blergh.

Seriously, that was disgusting. How the hell do we start a rookie QB and only give Chris Johnson 7 carries?! :wtf:

Prayers for Dinger though as he starts chemo.

Wow. Arizona has completely imploded.

I love it.

:p

Good thing they dumped Leinart for Derek "NOTHING'S FUNNY TO ME!!!" Anderson.

Frank Gore breaks his hip? Ouch.
