Sorry Houston. You got this close

But still lost.

Yep....It's time to get rid of Kubiack and heatbreakers....

Yep....It's time to get rid of Kubiack and heatbreakers....

Their sideline looked so happy after their last touchdown taking the lead, followed up by that yard eating penalty on the kickoff. Then got so deflated in that 40 second 75 yard drive to the jets win. Hell of a nail biter last quarter for us jets fans though, some of them were doing the early leave from the stadium and ended up missing out on that win.

FRAKKING JETS!!! :scream:

Oh well, at least the Patriots are still up over the Colts going into the half. Hopefully they stay on top.

Vick ran for about as many yards as a random team's running back does in a single game, scoring two touchdowns in the process, and then tossed for a fuckton of yards and four more touchdowns. You don't have to like the guy to say, "God damn, he is tearing the field up right now."

No argument there, but I think the show really was overboard. It seemed like the whole second half of the pregame show was about how great he is.

I don't have strong feelings about Vick one way or the other.

Heh, I don't have strong feelings about him either and he plays for my team. My thought is this. If he has a game that isn't as strong as the commentary continues, then it's right to be annoyed. Right now, it's just one pre-game show. Don't worry about it unless he continues to get the Tom Brady treatment.

I can't stand the JETS Coach...but Farve made me a fan of the jets last year and that following has continued for me with Sanchez...that's two teams in the AFC East with my salute.

Gaaaaaahhh, that was damn close. I'm always nervous when Peyton Manning goes into halftime trailing, because he tends to come out in the second half and light it up. And he did it again tonight. Thankfully he was kind enough to throw three interceptions, including one that sealed the game for the Patriots. Thanks, Peyton. :techman:

The remainder of the Texans' season will go like this:

Texans will win 4 of their next 5 games, placing them at 8-7. Going into the final game, they will be in complete control of their destiny: a win gets them into the playoffs, a loss will leave them stuck at home again. They will be winning the game with 15 seconds to go, and they will once again be killed on the final play from scrimmage. Such is the life of the Texans.

Dammit Titans, really? :(

And it looks like Vince has once again badly-behaved himself out of the starting job. Sad, because he's been doing well stats-wise this season. Guess it's time to see what Rusty Smith can do.

No, the Texans won't beat the EAGLES
Depending on whose at Quarter back they won't beat the TITANS the next 2 games.
Won't beat a weak Baltimore team.

I see the Jaguars and the Broncos as the best possibility for wins. that's 6/10...and that's what I'm hoping for...

I need Kubiack out
I need an experienced Coach in.
Do it.

Perhaps, but if they do that, then they'll definitely be out of the playoffs pretty early before the end. That's just not what the Texans' do.

As for counting Denver as a win, while I don't believe in Denver yet, Houston can't stop the pass at all, and that is Denver's number one weapon. That's going to make it pretty rough on Houston.

Broncos don't have a stiff enough defense to stop Arian Foster and a descently planned running game. We don't have rely on Shuab's rusty arm entirely.

The TEXANS weakness is the Defensive Secondary. We've allowed 30 points in the last 6 games we've allowed 29 points or more and it's hasn't been the Run Defense...it's the pass that's leaking.

The Broncos are vulnerable...it's no guarantee but if I know my team and I think I do...since I've accurately called every game this season....they'll get that one. (baring some injury)

Well, the Rams played tough for 3+ quarters today before the wheels came off. Bradford's interception on the goalline was terrible.

:scream:

:(

I would like to thank the Cowgirls, Falcons and Pack for putting more than a grand in my pocket this weekend. Awesome games, especially the Pack who utterly dominated.

Oh, a shout out to Brett Favre too. As a Chicago fan, all I have to say about his performance is <nelson>"ha ha!"</nelson>.

Dear Philly,

Can we please trade Matt Cassel straight up for Michael Vick? Thank you!

Actually Cassel had a decent day today (relatively speaking), but he still has the infuriating habit of locking onto receivers and not seeing open guys. And too many short passes on 3rd and long, but I guess that's more on OC Weiss rather than Cassel.

^Give Cassel some time.... he's gone from never starting for anyone (high school, college, or pro) to being a third year starter. He's not going to turn into super-star overnight. And considering his resume, he's actually doing pretty well.
