So according to this:

Ryan Fitzpatrick has the second highest average passer rating on the season so far, after Peyton Manning.

How did this happen?

Also, according to this:

http://www.nfl.com/standings

One of the four NFC teams with only 2 losses is Seattle, and another one is Tampa Bay.

Again, how did this happen? :p

Todd Haley, KC Chiefs Coach:

It's early in the fourth quarter and the score is 10-3, Chiefs. So, okay. You're winning by one score. But this is a sad score. It looks like a little-league flag-football game score. Also, I really have to question some of your play-calling decisions in this game and in games past. Granted, I'm not an NFL football coach, nor do I know really that much about play calling, but I do play Madden and I know the appeal of being bold and risky. The difference is if I lose I can just restart the game. You? You'll piss off a million people.

Why do you insist on going for in on fourth down when you're within in field goal range?

Why do you go for it on fourth down when you're more than a couple yards away from the first down marker?

Why do you hand it back when you go for it on fourth down? Wouldn't a short pass make more sense? Run it up the middle, maybe?

Why is it when you're 3rd and several yards do you hand it off instead of going to the air? Maybe a play action?

When you're within field-goal range and on fourth down doesn't it make sense to go for the almost sure thing (the field goal) as opposed to turning it over on downs? Granted when it turnsover they won't have the best field position but surely the sure points are better than turning it over.

NFL on CBS, while the "First and Ten" system that puts the graphics on the field is cool, I'd still like to have the ball's position and what down it is on the screen along with the other information (score, time, etc.) It's there some of the time but, really, it's info that should be thee at ALL times along with the ball's position.

Chiefs? This was really a team you should've walked all over but, it's running as a tight game. Why so close on these sure things. (Last week was another where you should've easily won it with room to spare.) Oh well, keep fucking that chicken.

Near the two minute warning in the 4th. Tied at 10 pending the challenge on the Buffalo TD and the point-after.

Memo to Pat Bowlen... PLEASE fire Josh McDaniels, I started to root for the Raiders during last week's debacle, and now I'm rooting Niners!

Oh my god, they just blocked the Broncos p.a.t!

Good grief the Broncos are pathetic this year.

Damn, Dallas.....to think I was excited when Dez Bryant got drafted by the Cowboys. When they couldn't convert on fourth and goal at the 2 inch line before the half.....damn. Dez had a fantastic catch to get them downfield in Jaguar territory and then nothing. It's pathetic and sad. :wtf:

I don't think McDaniels has a prayer of surviving the offseason, though I believe he'll finish out the year. He's systematically destroyed that team from within.

End of Regulation, tied at 10. Chiefs got an interception and had it deep in their own territory but Cassel gets sacked with seconds left in Regulation. Buffalo wins the toss and will recieve.

See, Haley? Had you gone for that field goal way back in the first quarter....

How about those Rams!?!

:techman:

Actually, Carolina is terrible. I mean, good Lord...

The Rams go into the bye-week at 4-4. I'll take it.

And how about a moment for the great Isaac Bruce, who had his jersey retired by the Rams this morning.

Well done, Reverend! Here's to you.

I heard the only reason McHoodie won't be fired during the season is that with the potential lock out coming up, Bowlen doesn't want to pay two coaches for nothing next year.

I think they should go all out and have Tebow start the remaining games and see what happens. The worst that can happen is they'll lose, but they're doing a good job of that right now with Orton.

Of all the issues Denver has though, Orton isn't one of them. Taking out the only piece of the puzzle that plays pretty decently isn't going to fix anything. We need to stop the stupid mistakes that keep costing us big plays and big points.

Also, that "chop block" call was horse shit.
